Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for two Global Learning Specialists in the LAS Student Academic Affairs Office. You will teach up to four courses per year within the Global Learning portfolio, supervise TAs, develop curricula, and coordinate with campus partners under the Associate Director for Global Learning.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree and two years in intercultural/global education teaching, plus a year coordinating curricular programs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in humanities, social sciences, international studies, education, or related field.
• Two years of teaching or instructional experience in intercultural/global education.
• One year of coordinating curricula, programs, events, or research projects at the undergrad level.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to four courses per year within the Global Learning portfolio.
• Revise course curriculum to reflect student needs and program goals.
• Coordinate TA recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Develop and maintain course records and manage related enrollment and grading tasks.
