Job summary

Goodwin Procter is seeking a Learning & Professional Development Assistant to support the global L&PD team. This role reports to the Director of Inclusive Talent Development and supports programs for lawyers and staff across the firm.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and has 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LMS familiarity, and a collaborative work style are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a law firm, corporate setting, educational institution, or professional services environment preferred.
• Experience with learning management systems and/or Workday is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the L&PD senior leadership on global learning and professional development programs.
• Provide administrative support for programs/events including budgeting, calendar management, invitations, and on-site support.
• Support planning and coordination of staff trainings and project plans.
• Coordinate feedback surveys, track data, and administer programs.
• Assist with department budgeting and expense tracking for professional staff accounts.
• Support PowerPoint, Excel, and survey tools as needed.
