Job summary

Grifols, S.A. seeks a Performance Excellence Manager to drive Lean/Operational Excellence across Plasma Procurement. You will codify standards, deploy governance, and build sustainable processes in a multi-site environment.

This role leads standard work, trains leaders, measures KPIs, and partners with Operations, Quality, Training, and Remediation teams. Travel within the United States 50–70% is required, with potential international travel.

Qualifications

• Must understand process governance and compliance mindset. Plasma collection background preferred.
• Lean / Operational Excellence practices implemented in multi-site environments.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and change leadership skills to influence leaders without authority.
• Experience delivering Lean / Continuous Improvement training.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and manufacturing programs.
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and ability to implement solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple projects.
• Lean mindset; able to coach others in standardization.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and update enterprise process standards and playbooks across sites.
• Lead Lean Management System practices and standard work initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to identify gaps, reduce variation, and sustain improvements.
• Develop a compliance framework for standard models and quality expectations.
• Establish a maturity model to assess adoption of standard processes.
• Collaborate with CI managers to evaluate and improve processes without sacrificing consistency.
• Use data to identify improvement opportunities, plan actions, and measure impact.
• Conduct process audits and gap assessments with Operations leadership.
• Design and deliver Lean training and capability-building programs.
• Coach leaders in Lean principles and problem solving (A3).
• Support train-the-trainer programs and internal champions.
• Develop and implement solutions for non-conformance with standard models.
• Deliver training and coaching to promote understanding and adoption of standard practices.
• Stay updated on best practices in continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed standardization in new centers or remediations.
• Identify standardization opportunities within the center network.
