Job summary

Brink’s Texas seeks a Senior Director, Lean Capability to define and lead the global strategy for building problem-solving capability, developing Lean leaders, and institutionalizing management systems that drive sustainable business results. You will collaborate across regions and functions to coach leaders, design scalable development pathways, and integrate Lean behaviors into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in operations management with a focus on lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with an ability to translate vision into actionable initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Lean capability strategy and governance across the enterprise.
• Coach and mentor leaders on Lean management principles, including PDCA, A3 thinking, Daily Management, and Leader Standard Work.
• Develop scalable learning pathways, coaching systems, and capability-building programs globally.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives addressing complex operational and business performance challenges.
• Conduct executive gemba and on-site observations to identify barriers and sustain results.
• Monitor performance indicators and organizational health measures to ensure improvements are lasting.
