Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver clinical trial projects on time and within budget. You will serve as the sponsor-facing lead, coordinating cross-functional efforts and ensuring adherence to contracts, scopes, and timelines.

You will manage communications, escalate issues, and drive risk mitigation while guiding vendors and internal stakeholders to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Global Lead Project Manager in conduct of clinical trials (end-to-end).
• Several years of demonstrated experience in vendor management across a broad range of vendor types.
• Experience in at least two therapeutics areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between sponsor and organization at the project level.
• Ensure escalation pathways are followed internally and externally.
• Define clear delineation of responsibilities for secondary project leads when needed.
• Accountable for overall delivery of cross-functional projects (time, cost, quality).
• Demonstrate financial stewardship at project level, manage budget and Out-of-Scope activity.
• Establish and manage customer expectations to achieve optimal delivery.
• Drive risk identification and issue resolution at project level.
• Ensure project team compliance with SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory and project requirements.
