Job summary

Sentient Foundation seeks a senior leader to own its global open-source AI community and ecosystem strategy. You will champion open models, tools, and evals, recruit builders, and guide grants and investments, while engaging across Discord, GitHub, and X to turn power users into ecosystem partners.

You will synthesize feedback for product and research, explain complex ideas through writing and talks, and collaborate with product, research, and growth to amplify success stories in the open

Qualifications

• 4+ years in developer relations or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on technical ability with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building open-source software.
• Proven track record recruiting senior leaders around a mission.
• Understanding of LLMs and AI agents.
• Public portfolio of developer content (tutorials, talks, OSS contributions).
• Ability to explain complex technical ideas simply.

Responsibilities

• Own community and ecosystem strategy for open-source AI.
• Write tutorials, docs, blogs, demos, and talks.
• Drive open-source AI grants/investment program.
• Lead developer community across Discord, GitHub, and X.
• Recruit ecosystem leaders and advisors.
• Represent Sentient at events; run developer workshops.
