Job summary

Atlas OT LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead and deliver complex automation projects across multiple industries, applying IEC 61131-3 programming and multi‑platform control solutions.

You will drive design, programming, testing and FAT activities, mentor engineers, and help shape internal standards for OT networks and cybersecurity; travel may be required.

This role provides technical leadership to elevate automation excellence on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; ISA CAP/PE preferred
• 8+ years experience in control systems across multi-site implementations
• Experience with P&IDs, SIS, and safety systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead complex automation projects across platforms
• Develop and enforce internal coding standards (IEC 61131-3)
• Architect secure OT networks and comply with IEC 62443
• Review work and mentor engineers to uphold standards
• Lead process optimization and automation strategies
• Estimate hours and BOMs with Sales/PM teams
• Approve technical deliverables and designs
• Support FAT testing and panel design
