Job summary

Atlas OT seeks a Principal Controls Engineer to set the technical direction for integrated automation and controls across energy, manufacturing, and process industries. You will lead standards, mentor teams, and drive profitable, safe solutions on a global scale.

You’ll own the long-range technology roadmap, govern code libraries, and partner with leadership on business development and strategic pursuits. Expertise across electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering is required to

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; advanced credentials preferred (Master’s, ISA CAP, PE).
• 10+ years of multi-site control systems engineering leadership.
• Experience with IEC 61131-3 and safety instrumented systems (SIS).
• Proven ability to develop and govern OT standards and templates.
• Strong proposal, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Atlas OT’s 5-year technology roadmap and OT strategy.
• Act as final technical authority on complex, multi-platform projects.
• Govern global code libraries and IEC 61131-3 templates.
• Design secure OT networks and ensure IEC 62443 compliance.
• Mentor engineers and uphold Atlas OT standards.
