Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Labor Relations Partner to advise Operations, HR and Legal on labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, grievances, and employee relations across warehouses, terminals, transportation sites, and offices.

You will lead investigations, support negotiations, provide training for managers, monitor trends, and deliver reports that help sustain a productive, compliant workplace worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Labor Relations or HR experience.
• Experience in unionized environments and grievance handling.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on labor relations matters, CBAs, labor laws, and workplace concerns.
• Advise on contract interpretation, grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee relations issues.
• Support labor-management relations activities, investigations, grievance resolution, arbitration prep, and negotiations.
• Develop and deliver labor relations training for managers and leaders (NLRA awareness).
• Monitor trends, workforce data, grievances, and metrics to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Assist in administration of CBAs, including union communications and dispute tracking.
• Partner with leaders to address workplace concerns and promote engagement and retention.
• Prepare reports and recommendations on labor relations activities and organizational initiatives.
• Research labor legislation, arbitration decisions, and industry developments for business impact.
