Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Head of KYC to own the global strategy, policy, and program execution for KYC across Coinbase's regulated entities.

You will drive program design, manage a team, and partner with operations, product, and regulatory stakeholders to scale the KYC program globally. The role requires deep AML/CTF knowledge, a track record of building global programs, and experience as a senior escalation point for onboarding matters.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing KYC programs at a financial institution, with people management.
• Deep knowledge of global AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations and scalable program design across jurisdictions.
• Experience as senior escalation point for KYC/onboarding matters and regulatory guidance.
• Ability to deliver executive-level reporting on program performance and KPIs.
• Experience managing multiple regulatory initiatives and jurisdiction launches in a matrixed environment.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategic direction of Coinbase's Global KYC program across regulated entities.
• Lead a team of KYC professionals supporting program design and execution across jurisdictions.
• Drive global KYC issue management, corrective actions, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering to design KYC initiatives for new product launches.
• Serve as DRI for regulatory reporting and senior management updates on KPI health.
• Shape interpretation of global KYC requirements with Legal and Compliance partners.
