Coinbase is seeking a Senior Manager, Head of KYC in Central Compliance to own the global strategy, policy, and execution for KYC across Coinbase regulated entities. You will lead a global function, partnering with operations, product, and regulatory stakeholders to scale the program while meeting evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing, designing, and implementing KYC programs.
• Deep knowledge of global AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations.
• Proven track record in scaling global KYC programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience as a senior escalation point for KYC/onboarding matters.
• Experience communicating with regulators and senior leadership.
• Responsible use of AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end strategic direction of Coinbase's Global KYC program, including policy development and enterprise-wide process design.
• Lead a team of KYC professionals across second-line compliance, setting performance standards and developing talent.
• Drive KYC issue management and resolution, overseeing corrective actions and first-line performance.
• Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to design KYC initiatives for new products and jurisdictions.
• Serve as DRI for regulatory reporting and provide executive-level KPI reporting.
• Shape global KYC interpretation in collaboration with Legal and Compliance to balance compliance with business velocity.
