Job summary

L&L Products is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and improve the company’s core IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, networking, endpoints, and security platforms. The role supports a global manufacturing environment and collaborates with cybersecurity operations to implement best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of systems administration experience, strong Windows Server/AD skills, and proficiency with enterprise tooling like VMware and 365.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or IT Infrastructure support.
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Experience administering enterprise infrastructure, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience working within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage VMware virtualization environments, including virtual machine provisioning, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Perform server installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operation of business-critical systems.
• Administer and support enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, and remote connectivity solutions.
• Configure and support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, routing, and network segmentation.
• Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining secure and highly available network services.
• Support vulnerability management by reviewing findings, coordinating remediation efforts, and validating corrective actions.
• Participate in security incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
