Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle is seeking a Director of Global IT Support Operations to lead the CorpIT Services functions that keep our offices, employees, and events running 24/7. You will own strategy, staffing, budgets, and vendor partnerships while modernizing support with smarter tooling and self-service.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven SLAs, and scalable operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years leading IT support, service desk or IT operations teams.
• 3+ years leading people leaders within a multi-region, hybrid organization.
• Experience managing outsourced or vendor-delivered support models and SOWs.
• Proven use of automation and self-service to reduce manual effort.
• Strong data skills and ability to set and manage service levels.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy and roadmap for global IT support across help desk, field services and server operations.
• Lead and develop a distributed team of leaders and technicians across regions and time zones.
• Own service levels and drive improvements in response, resolution and cost per ticket.
• Drive tooling, automation and self-service to reduce manual work.
• Manage vendor contracts and staffing models to balance cost and quality.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, network and workplace teams for office changes and events.
