Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Global Sourcing IT Category Manager to lead IT sourcing strategy and drive savings across a multi‑region footprint in Plano, Texas.

The role requires coordinating with Operating Companies, Accounts, Delivery, and Alliances to optimize IT spend. Education includes a bachelor’s degree and preferably an MBA, with fluent English and strong analytical skills to transform data into cost-reducing roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing and/or category management in IT.
• Minimum 3 years in IT cloud sourcing and contracting with MSFT/AWS/GCP.
• Hands-on experience managing IT spend/category globally with cost savings results.
• Experience in vendor management and business reviews with suppliers.
• Manage contract life cycle and related activities in project systems.
• Strong understanding of IT vendor sales and pricing models and IT services.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with Tier-1 IT suppliers globally.
• Knowledge across IT sub-categories: Software, SaaS, IT hardware, Security software.
