Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead global, enterprise-wide initiatives within the IT Digital Transformation organization. You will drive technology programs focused on process efficiencies, data and AI, ensuring objectives are met on time and on budget.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across infrastructure, applications, security, and business units, manage stakeholders, and provide executive-level updates.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years IT project or program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale IT projects (digital transformation, software development, ERP, cloud).
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
• Experience with project management tools (ServiceNow SPM, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills—written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience managing multimillion dollar project budgets.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional, global IT projects from initiation through delivery.
• Accountable for planning and execution tasks including scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource, risk and issue management.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive dashboards.
• Facilitate project governance, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to align project objectives with organizational strategy.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, applications, security, and business teams.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Proactively engages stakeholders, providing timely, relevant, and transparent project status.
• Produce executive-level program updates as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, change management processes, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to PMO best practices and continuous improvement.
• Support portfolio-level reporting and resource capacity planning.
