Job summary

Leading The Way (LTW) is a Christian media ministry seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Atlanta to design, secure, and stabilize its global IT environment. You will manage servers, cloud platforms, identity systems, and core infrastructure supporting ministry operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining VMware/Hyper-V environments, cloud workloads (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud), IAM, patching, backups, DR, and network security while collaborating with vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual environments).
• Administer cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) and hybrid environments.
• Oversee identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, MFA).
• Ensure system security, patching, and vulnerability management across all environments.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and capacity; address risks proactively.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity across locations.
• Lead infrastructure-related projects (migrations, upgrades, implementations).
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners for infrastructure and security services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and system architecture diagrams.
• Provide escalation support for complex technical issues from Help Desk.
