Job summary

Zipline is seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to deliver an excellent employee IT experience across a globally distributed workforce. You will support hardware, software, identity, devices, and core business systems to ensure new hires are productive from day one while continuously improving IT services at scale.

The ideal candidate is technically curious with strong problem ownership, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable working on-site at Zipline's South San Francisco headquarters five days

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or similar technical role.
• Strong customer-service mindset focused on delivering an excellent employee experience.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, access, and application issues.
• Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows environments; Linux a plus.
• Experience with Identity & Access Management concepts such as SSO, SAML, SCIM.
• Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, thoughtful, high-quality technical support to employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, access, and application issues.
• Own support issues through resolution and ensure employees understand next steps.
• Improve IT processes to reduce friction and enhance the employee experience.
• Contribute to strong IT SLAs, service quality, and satisfaction.
• Support onboarding and offboarding across systems, devices, and applications.
• Administer core IT systems including identity, SSO, device management, and collaboration platforms.
• Assist with system configuration, integrations, and platform improvements.
