Job summary

3M is seeking a Senior IT Digital Program Manager to drive multi‑million dollar digital initiatives from concept through production. You will lead enterprise‑wide programs and coordinate cross‑functional IT, engineering and business teams.

This on‑site role requires strong budgeting, vendor management, and stakeholder influence up to the SVP level. Expect up to 25% travel with on‑site work in Maplewood, MN or Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or higher completed and verified before start.
• Fifteen (15) years IT professional experience in private/public/government/military environment.
• Five (5) years’ leadership on complex global programs in private/public/government/military environment.
• Five (5) years’ experience overseeing global teams in private/public/government/military environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale Digital IT programs from inception to production rollout.
• Manage multiple interconnected projects within a unified program structure.
• Oversee complex technical implementations and partner with IT, engineering and business teams.
• Engage senior stakeholders up to SVP level with clear communication and timely decisions.
• Collaborate with leaders to build high‑performing program teams and ensure clear ownership across workstreams.
• Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation to maintain program stability.
• Manage vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure delivery quality aligns with goals and sourcing.
• Own program financials including forecasting, tracking and multi‑million dollar budgets.
• Provide transparent program reporting to leadership for informed decisions.
