Job summary

RPM International Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to lead and execute global IT internal audit activities, including ITGC testing and SOX contributions. You will work with Corporate IT, business units, and external auditors to assess risks, design tests, and report findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field (additional accounting/business is a plus).
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• CISA, CIA, or CPA preferred; active pursuit encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT audits across RPM's global operations.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness via walkthroughs, testing, evidence review, and documentation.
• Identify and assess control deficiencies; draft observations and recommendations; communicate findings.
• Manage assigned work across engagements, meeting quality standards, milestones, and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Assist IT Audit management with risk assessment, engagement planning, scope development, fieldwork coordination, and closing discussions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and subsidiary IT teams; respond to review comments.
• Perform follow-up testing and track remediation progress; escalate unresolved issues.
• Support recurring control certification and other internal control activities.
• Build relationships with Internal Audit and IT personnel; share knowledge; contribute to methodology improvements.
• Coach Staff IT Auditors and interns; provide guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of IT security, internal controls, and applicable frameworks (COSO, NIST).
• Participate in training initiatives and management meetings; communicate IT audit results and insights.
