Nasdaq’s CAP Investment Insights team seeks an Investment Research Analyst to transform Nasdaq data into timely, unbiased investment insights for institutional and retail audiences. You will translate complex data into clear narratives, charts, and client-ready briefs.

You will collaborate across teams, maintain analytical independence, and contribute to thematic research, global market perspectives, and actionable thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in investment research, asset management, financial services, or related field.
• Strong understanding of investment concepts, capital markets and investor needs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or VBA, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, clean, validate, and analyze data from Nasdaq proprietary and third-party sources to support original investment research.
• Analyze complex investment and market data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities for institutional and retail investors.
• Contribute to producing timely thought leadership including thematic research, global market perspectives, and client-ready briefs.
• Translate quantitative findings into clear narratives, charts, dashboards, and visualizations for diverse investor audiences.
• Collaborate with research, commercial, marketing, and regional teams to align research priorities with client needs while maintaining analytical independence.
