Swiss Re in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Investment Accountant to join the Global Investment Reporting team. You will handle sub-ledger accounting, data integrity, and cross-border collaboration to ensure accurate investment reporting across entities.

The role requires 1–3 years in investment accounting/reporting and knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and tax reporting. This hybrid position offers growth in a global finance environment.

Qualificações

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in investment accounting/reporting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, US Regulatory (Statutory), IFRS and Tax Reporting.
• Experience with multi-valuation accounting concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sub-ledger accuracy: Execute sub-ledger accounting tasks and reporting deliverables for various accounting valuations and legal entities.
• Master the data landscape: Understand data flows, system architectures and interactions affecting accounting transactions.
• Collaborate across borders: Liaise with data providers and analysts locally and internationally.
• Partner with stakeholders: Work with Asset Management, Tax, Risk, Treasury, and Group Finance.
• Uphold control standards: Apply the control framework for audits.
• Ensure data integrity: Reconcile and resolve data quality issues across investment products.
• Contribute to team growth: Participate in team initiatives and projects.
