Job summary

Rinchem is seeking an Inventory and Shipping Specialist to support inventory receipt entries in the Chem-Star WMS and customer systems, perform data entry, and assist customers with locations and delivery times. You will conduct inventory cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, generate shipping documents (BOLs, manifests, IATA/IMDG), schedule dock appointments, and coordinate with drivers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Some college preferred.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs inventory receipt entry in Chem-Star WMS and customer systems.
• Processes customer transactions (hold, damaged, disposition) in systems.
• Performs inventory cycle counts and reconciliation reporting.
• Researches inventory discrepancies.
• Performs QC checks on outbound, staged shipments.
• Answers basic questions about delivery and inventory.
• Provides truck driver directions.
• Receives and makes calls for LTL appointments.
• Schedules dock appointments for internal and external customers.
• Answers emails about inventory and scheduling.
• Generates shipping paperwork (BOLs, manifests, IATA, IMDG).
• General administrative work for CSC (POI data, mail, logs, archiving).
• Liaises with service center visitors.
• Trains backup to cover responsibilities.
• Enters Customer Records and handles PO process with Customer.
