Job summary

Weaver is seeking an International Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing team in Houston. The International Tax group handles compliance, provision, and consulting for inbound and outbound clients, coordinating with foreign network firms.

The role will complete, supervise and review U.S. tax compliance and complex planning while advising multinational companies on the U.S. tax implications of ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of international tax experience in public accounting or equivalent.
• CPA or JD is required.
• Experience with income tax preparation and planning for domestic businesses, US multinationals and foreign corporations.
• Broad exposure to U.S. international income taxation.
• Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
• Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete, supervise, and review U.S. tax compliance and complex tax-planning strategies for international operations.
• Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the U.S. tax implications of ongoing operations.
