Job summary

embecta is a global medical device company with a longstanding heritage in insulin delivery and diabetes care. This Internal Auditor Associate role is hybrid on-site (3 days a week) in Parsippany, NJ, and focuses on evaluating internal controls to protect assets, ensure reliable financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will work with global stakeholders, supporting SOX, IT audits, and analytics initiatives. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA, CIA, CFE or working towards a professional certification.
• 1+ years of audit experience in a global company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits aligned with IIA Standards and department policies, covering planning, fieldwork, reporting.
• Support global SOX compliance including evaluation of internal controls and testing of controls.
• Identify financial statement exposures and internal control deficiencies; propose improvements.
• Support IT audit fieldwork and related activities.
• Document audit findings in audit report format as the engagement progresses.
• Adapt audit programs as observations or new information emerge in the field.
• Finalize audit fieldwork and reports in line with department standards.
• Participate in semi-annual enterprise risk assessment process.
• Support creation and management of Internal Audit analytics and AI use cases.
• Travel up to 25% internationally and domestically.
