Job summary

AbbVie’s Global Internal Audit function leads risk-based assurance and advisory services across US and international locations. The role focuses on delivering audits aligned with IIA standards, AbbVie Code of Conduct, and internal policies, with partnership to stakeholders to improve the control environment.

The position requires traveling 15-35% and a hybrid in-office work arrangement, with emphasis on coaching and developing audit talent while maintaining a collaborative, ethical culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Accounting (or relevant area).
• 15 - 35% travel to AbbVie's international and U.S. locations required.
• In office/face-to-face interaction at company's head office and audit locations (hybrid).
• Ability to 'coach others', and 'be coached' (by peers, management, and partners).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits of various processes/locations, both U.S. and international.
• Compile and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources (such as SAP, payroll and various financial databases).
• Partner with peers in creating a risk assessment analysis of a proposed audit of entities, processes or critical systems.
• Prepare and present audit findings to audit leadership and business stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate risk & control themes to various stakeholders.
• Assist with investigations as requested.
• Demonstrate a high degree of soft/presentation skills.
