Job summary

Bybit is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Expert to join its global team and shape risk-based audit plans across multi-jurisdiction platforms. You will lead end-to-end audit engagements, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to senior management and the Board.

You will apply data analytics, SQL, and emerging technologies to enhance testing, monitoring, and risk assessment, while collaborating with Compliance, Risk, and Finance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or compliance experience in financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk-management practices, and IIA auditing standards.
• Experience leading regulatory or external audit reviews, with ability to manage cross-border audits.
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency exchange operations, blockchain, and related regulatory frameworks (global & regional).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Proficient in Chinese and English for business usage

Responsibilities

• Design and execute risk-based internal audit plans aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate governance frameworks, risk management, and internal controls across operations, finance, and compliance.
• Lead internal audit engagements, ensure delivery per IIA standards and audit methodology.
• Draft audit reports with findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for management and the Board.
• Monitor remediation and ensure timely closure of audit issues.
