Hamilton Lane, a global leader in private markets, seeks an Insurance Strategist for the Global Client Solutions team. You will design and execute a strategic sales plan for the U.S.

insurance market and then globally, collaborating with investment teams to shape insurance-focused products and services. You will liaise between distribution and investments, support product development, and help expand relationships with insurers, CIOs, CFOs, and CROs across Life, P&C, Health, and multi-line

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Insurance GA asset management or related insurer work.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CFA preferred.
• Strong investment acumen in Private Alternatives.
• Willingness to travel 20-40% globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative portfolio solutions across our investment strategies to meet insurer needs.
• Provide portfolio, asset class, and security-level optimization using capital and accounting perspectives.
• Identify product focus areas for the client solutions team and align services to insurer needs.
• Support client/prospect meetings to advance opportunities for single mandate and strategic partnerships.
• Analyze insurance companies and peers to identify opportunities and build target lists.
• Maintain expertise in industry regulation impacting clients and services.
• Build brand with insurers through thought leadership and events.
