Job summary

KBR seeks a Global Server, Storage & Backup Manager to lead a geographically distributed team responsible for enterprise compute, virtualization, storage, and data protection services. You will drive reliability, security, performance, and lifecycle management across on-prem and cloud environments, partnering with Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Enterprise Architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Clearance & Citizenship: US citizen with active Secret clearance or eligible.
• 12+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• 5+ years leading infrastructure operations teams.
• Experience in large-scale, globally distributed environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise server, virtualization, storage, backup, DR, and operations.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and related tech.
• Experience with ITSM processes/tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team responsible for enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and backup services.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and recoverability across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Oversee administration of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, storage, and data protection technologies.
• Lead backup, recovery, and disaster recovery programs for business continuity.
• Develop and maintain operational standards, procedures, and service models.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and health; drive improvements.
• Lead major incident response with RCA and corrective actions.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, asset).
• Manage vendors, licensing, and service performance expectations.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Mentor team members and foster accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and technology investment priorities.
