Job summary

Owens Corning invites students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related fields to join our Global Information Services internship in Toledo, OH. You will engage in IS projects across security, infrastructure, ERP, analytics, digital manufacturing, and development teams.

You’ll design business processes, gather requirements, map software to processes, and contribute to testing, training, and deployment activities within a collaborative, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Business process design
• Collection and satisfaction of business requirements for IS products and services
• Mapping and/or configuration of business software to align with processes and requirements
• Development of system specifications for software customization, data conversions and services interfaces
• Development of testing plans, test data and standard reporting; actual system testing
• End user training and second level systems support
• Evaluation, justification and acquisition of hardware and software components
• Operation and support of production, test and training environments
• Performance monitoring and tuning of production, test, and training environments
• Establishing and monitoring service level agreements as well as managing vendor and partner relationships
