Job summary

Owens Corning seeks a Global Information Services Internship to gain hands-on IS experience in roles like IS Security, Infrastructure, ERP, Analytics/AI, and Digital/Web development. Interns work onsite in Toledo, OH, collaborating across time zones and functions while contributing to real IS projects.

You will map requirements, configure software, draft specs, develop tests, train users, and support environments, with pathways to full-time opportunities in the GIS Development Program.

Responsibilities

• Gather and map business requirements for IS products and services.
• Configure business software to align with processes and requirements.
• Develop system specifications for software customization, data conversions and interfaces.
• Create testing plans, test data and standard reporting; perform actual system testing.
• Provide end user training and second-level systems support.
• Evaluate, justify and acquire hardware and software components.
• Operate and support production, test and training environments.
• Monitor performance and tune production, test, and training environments.
• Establish and monitor service level agreements and manage vendor relationships.
• Present project results and engage with senior GIS leadership.
• Participate in personal and professional development activities.
