Discord seeks a senior manager to lead global indirect tax strategy, focusing on taxability, sourcing, and new monetization models. You’ll own positions end to end, partner with Product, Legal, Finance, and Engineering, and drive go‑live decisions with leadership and external advisors.

You will monitor global regulatory changes, advise on inter‑company transactions, and manage audits, with a track record in US sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and tax technology.

Competenze

• 10+ years global indirect tax experience in tech/digital companies or Big 4/in‑house mix.
• Deep knowledge of US sales and use tax; working knowledge of international VAT/GST.

• Own all technical areas of global indirect tax and lead complex issues end to end.
• Lead indirect tax strategy for new products, monetization models, and market entries.
• Monitor regulatory changes globally and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze tax implications of inter‑company transactions and new entity structures.
• Manage external advisors and ensure tax positions are documented in systems.
• Lead audits and controversy, including defense strategy.
