Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• CPA or JD required; LLM in Taxation preferred.
• At least six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm; national/IRS experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in tax technical work.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing documentation and computations for client projects including voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, taxability matrices, and transaction related analysis
• Preparing written tax advice on GIT matters
• Tracking new developments from state and local jurisdictions with emphasis on GIT issues
• Working with other specialty groups on issues intersecting federal, international, and state/local tax matters
• Supporting Firm-wide and external training to enhance knowledge of GIT matters
• Developing tools to provide quality service to clients
• Other duties as assigned
