Grant Thornton is seeking a WNTO Global Indirect Tax Director in Chicago to address, research, and consult on complex GIT issues for a variety of clients. You’ll collaborate with WNTO leaders and Tax Solution Families, empowered by strong technology, processes, and a collaborative team to extend your technical knowledge and deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm.

Responsabilités

• Reviewing documentation and computations for client projects including voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, taxability matrices, and transaction related analysis.
• Tracking new developments from state and local jurisdictions with emphasis on GIT issues and generating thought leadership and service opportunities.
• Working with other specialty groups on issues that intersect with other federal, international, and state and local tax matters.
• Supporting Firm-wide and external training to enhance knowledge of Firm professionals and clients in GIT matters.
• Developing tools that will be utilized by our Firm to provide quality service to our clients.
