Job summary

HBK Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) in the United States seeks an Indirect Buyer to manage indirect procurement across CapEx and OpEx, support manufacturing sites, and collaborate with the global indirect team to ensure supplier excellence, cost-efficiency, compliance and supply chain resilience.

You will drive supplier onboarding, catalog management in SAP S4/HANA and ARIBA, spend analysis, contract support, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to strengthen supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of indirect procurement experience
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA and ARIBA
• Fluent in English
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Procure-to-Pay Execution: Convert requisitions to purchase orders in compliance with internal policies.
• Supplier Negotiations: Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Catalog Management: Maintain supplier catalogs in SAP S4/HANA and ARIBA.
• Supplier Onboarding: Onboard new suppliers with compliance checks and registrations.
• Site Reporting & Support: Update on supplier performance and cost-saving initiatives.
• Spend Analysis & Optimization: Analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities.
• Contract Administration: Assist in drafting and managing supplier contracts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships to align procurement with business needs.
• Performance Reporting: Develop dashboards to track KPIs and savings.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
