Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced logistics supervisor to direct staff in import/export operations and customer service. The role focuses on coordinating licenses, declarations, and routing while maintaining compliance with laws and client needs.

You will lead a growing team, handle urgent client issues, and drive growth in the procurement segment, with on-site work in Houston, TX. A high school diploma and 5+ years of industry and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to be a team-player and communicate at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• On-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff in expediting import correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections.
• Maintain awareness of client needs to develop compliance recommendations and decisions and opportunities for enhanced services.
• Manages marketing of import services and growth of the procurement segment of the business.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Arranges shipping details such as import licenses, customs declarations, and packing and routing product.
• Expedites export-import arrangements and maintains current information on export-import tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.
• Effectively manages difficult client situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
