Job summary

Givaudan is hiring an Import Analyst in Mt. Olive, NJ. You will coordinate import shipments from order execution to delivery and report to the International Transport Supervisor.

The role requires SAP and advanced Excel skills, with 3–4 years in logistics and 1–2 years in imports, overseeing international purchases and US-bound shipments. Expect to work closely with customs brokers, monitor documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with import regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical or bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business Management.
• 3–4 years of logistics experience in manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of imports experience.
• SAP experience.
• Professional Excel knowledge.
• Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transport related activities to meet local Operations objectives.
• Lead the Import transportation processes which administer the day-to-day transportation operations international purchases, and shipment of products to the US across all modes of transport in accordance with global transport policies.
• Monitor compliance of international transport of materials/products with import/export regulations and related tax/stamp duties.
• Track shipment(s) on a daily basis and address delivery issues with relevant parties (suppliers, customs, transporters).
• Work in conjunction with customs broker(s) to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are complied with.
• Check conformity of import documents for correct values, commodity classifications, tariff codes and authorizations, and record delivery in SAP.
• Track performance of transportation suppliers, report deviations and implement corrective actions.
