Job summary

PERI in Chicago is seeking an Import/Export Specialist to drive shipping efficiency by coordinating day-to-day international shipping, customs, and trade compliance activities. You will track inbound shipments, verify documentation, and collaborate with PERI yards and the German team to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in import/export operations and international logistics.
• Knowledge of PSD or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Track international shipments end-to-end from order to yard receipt.
• Coordinate customs entry documents with brokers and forwarders.
• Serve as single point of contact between PERI USA yards, Germany, carriers, and brokers.
• Monitor and report inbound shipments.
• Coordinate container bookings and documentation with suppliers.
• Model cost/price impacts (tariffs) and support pricing with Excel.
• Use PSD ERP for order and shipment tracking.
