Job summary

Church World Service is seeking an MEL Advisor to lead the design and implementation of global monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems. You will collaborate with program teams to ensure robust impact measurement and inform strategic decisions.

The role focuses on implementing an agency-wide impact framework, developing learning strategies, and training staff and partners in MEL methods and data collection practices.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning in an international non-profit context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MEL methodologies and tools (e.g., logical frameworks, theory of change, data visualization).
• Proficiency in statistical software and data management systems (SPSS, Stata, PowerBI).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agency-wide impact indicators frameworks and data collection systems.
• Provide training and technical assistance to staff and partners on MEL implementation and data collection.
• Develop and promote knowledge management strategies and communities of practice across geographies.
• Create guidelines and training materials for MEL, program design, and learning hubs.
