Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Global Clinical Program Lead in Immunology to guide late‑stage development across small molecules, biologics or cell therapies. You will lead cross‑functional teams, design clinical development plans, study concepts and key protocols with medical oversight.

You will ensure patient safety, deliver robust scientific input to study documents, interact with investigators and regulators, and mentor junior team members as part of a dynamic Gastroenterology/immunology program.

Qualifications

• Medical degree required (MD/MD-PhD).
• Experience leading clinical programs across phases 2–4.
• Strong knowledge of biostatistics, regulatory environments and pharmacovigilance.
• Ability to provide medical input to study concepts, protocols and reports.
• Proven leadership in cross‑functional clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific input into programs and study concepts.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver development plans and docs.
• Ensure patient safety and ethical standards in studies.
• Draft and review study documents (SSP, protocol, CRFs, etc.).
• Mentor junior team members and lead governance activities.
