Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior security professional to lead hyperscale data center operational security for GPS, including guard force management, incident response, crisis management, and program development. The role oversees budgets, partner relations, and collaboration with GSOC and executive protection teams from the Saline, MI data center.

The Director will drive strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance (ISO, SOC1/2, NIST, FedRamp, HIPAA, PCI), and partner with Oracle Lines of

Qualifications

• 15 years of industrial security experience, combined with a minimum of 7 years of senior management and leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific legislations and compliance requirements as they apply to physical security operations in general and specific to data center security.
• Experience of crisis management as it relates to physical security at the corporate level.
• Working knowledge of security technology resources including access control and video systems; proficiency with basic Microsoft software and communications techniques.
• Ability to communicate at all levels up to Corporate Executive leadership.
• Adept at customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational direction and oversight for GPS strategic initiatives related to data center operational security.
• Manage budgets for security services and programs.
• Lead incident response and investigations, and crisis management for GPS.
• Coordinate with GSOC, Security Systems, Risk & Investigations, Events, Crisis Management and Executive Protection teams.
• Oversee projects for new data center builds, conversions and security design regimes.
• Liaise with Oracle partners and external resources to ensure program delivery and compliance.
