Job summary

RS Group seeks an HS Classification Specialist to lead validation and governance of HS codes for RS import/export activities worldwide. You will drive customs data accuracy, mitigate regulatory risk, and enable seamless international trade through robust classification management.

You will collaborate with SAP teams, support new product introductions, resolve complex classification challenges, and help maintain a compliant, high-quality HS coding repository across RS markets.

Qualifications

• HS classification expertise with global scope.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS recommended.
• Strong governance, data quality and compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global SME for HS validation across product categories.
• Validate and maintain HS codes and map to SAP tables per market.
• Manage HS validation for NPIs via RS ecosystem.
• Provide guidance on global HS code queries within the SLA.
• Support data cleansing for HS coding across trade lanes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure customs compliance.
• Collaborate with authorities and category managers to support compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement and RS values.
