Job summary

Russell Tobin in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Global HR Systems Functional Lead to drive a large-scale Workday implementation across Europe, APAC, and North America. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, Technology, and regional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires leading workshops, translating business needs into functional requirements, and coordinating with Workday consultants through the full lifecycle of the program.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business analysis, functional consulting, or HR systems implementation.
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops with global stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business processes into functional system requirements.
• Experience supporting HR, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, or Workforce initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops with global HR, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, and stakeholders.
• Analyze current-state HR processes and identify country-specific requirements.
• Translate needs into clear, configuration-ready Workday requirements.
• Create and maintain BRDs, process flows, user stories, and logs.
• Coordinate with Workday consultants, integrators, QA, and project teams.
• Support testing activities including UAT planning and defect triage.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and align multiple workstreams.
