Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Global HR Business Partner in Durham to serve as the primary HR advisor to senior functional leaders and leadership teams. This role partners with Centers of Excellence to translate business strategies into people, talent, and organizational actions that drive short- and long-term objectives.

The position is hybrid, requires 8+ years in HR with 3–5+ years in HRBP roles, and involves organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field.
• HR certification preferred (SHRM, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent).
• Experience across at least two HR disciplines is required.
• Must have 8+ years of HR or related experience and 3–5+ years in HR Business Partnering.

Responsibilities

• Builds strong working relationships with business and HR leaders.
• Translates business priorities into long-term people strategies and workforce plans.
• Partners with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver enterprise HR programs and solutions.
• Leads talent review, succession planning, and leadership development for assigned functions.
• Provides executive coaching and development aligned with business strategy and growth.
• Synthesizes insights to support executive decision making and risk mitigation.
