Abbott’s Structural Heart business is dedicated to restoring health and improving quality of life through innovative device solutions. This role is based in Plymouth, MN and supports Global Operations, R&D, and Quality, reporting to senior leaders with one direct report.

We seek a strategic Director of Business Human Resources to lead HR strategies, partner with leaders to drive people, culture and performance, and drive division-wide HR initiatives with strong collaboration across HR partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Advanced degree in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience in a matrix and global environment is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR plans aligned with business needs.
Partner with senior leaders to design people, culture, and workplace initiatives.
Create and execute talent and inclusion plans to enable business goals.
Provide coaching and development for leadership and succession planning.
Lead change management initiatives with thought leadership.
Navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage conflicts effectively.
Benchmark external trends to shape future HR practices.
