Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Senior Housing & Sourcing Manager to lead global hotel and venue sourcing for corporate events, from a single property to multi-hotel programs. You will negotiate room rates, concessions and contracts, work with legal teams to mitigate risk, and manage budgets, sub-blocks and reporting.

Based in a hybrid schedule (in-office or show site 2-3 days/week) with travel 25-50%, you will mentor staff, build schedules, maintain partner relationships, and ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Typically 6–10 years of housing management and hotel/venue sourcing experience.
• Experience negotiating and managing hotel contracts for events with one-to-many hotels and sub-blocks, including concession and attrition management.
• Strong understanding of hotel contract clauses and experience working with legal teams to mitigate risk and gain approvals.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, for tracking and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead global hotel and venue sourcing from RFP through contract; negotiate room rates, concessions, and other terms.
• Review contracts with clients and hotel teams to mitigate risk and gain approvals.
• Build and maintain strong hotel partner relationships for favorable terms and fast issue resolution.
• Lead execution of housing for events from kickoff to final reconciliation, including sub-block management and reporting.
