Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate for the Hedge Fund Distribution team to provide equity financing and securities lending coverage to hedge funds across cash and swap. The role emphasizes international markets and requires coordination with regional desks worldwide to ensure a seamless global client experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, market knowledge, and the ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders across key functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a client-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in extracting data from MIS reporting and using AI tools to produce insightful commentary.
• Capable of processing large volumes of information and managing flows in a fast-paced environment.
• FINRA Series 7 & 63 certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deepen strategic relationships with hedge fund clients from onboarding to product/market expansion.
• Identify and implement cash prime brokerage and swap financing solutions across NA, EMEA, and APAC regions.
• Provide securities lending expertise, including locate approvals, short interest estimates, and rate management.
• Monitor short interest and borrow trends at the security, sector, and market levels.
• Promote cash prime brokerage and swap capabilities across regions, leveraging product knowledge in over 50 markets.
• Advise on market access, documentation, financing efficiencies, and trading across cash and swap.
• Collaborate with Sales teams and other functional partners to deliver full-service coverage and identify new business opportunities.
