Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a Research Associate to join its Global Research Services team in Boston. The role focuses on providing industry, economic, and demographic research with a healthcare focus to support investment professionals.

You will synthesize fast-paced research, collaborate with deal staff and RDS teammates, and stay current on healthcare industry drivers and trends to inform potential and existing investments. Knowledge of secondary research tools is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of experience in a financial services, consulting, or other fast-paced corporate research environment.
Experience in the healthcare sector.
Familiar with secondary research tools such as Factiva, AlphaSense, S&P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, IQVIA, and other healthcare-specific services.
Experience working with AI in research processes across platforms including Claude or ChatGPT.
Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, synthesized research support to global deal staff and investment professionals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Collaborate proactively with investment professionals and RDS team members to anticipate ongoing information needs and identify research collaboration opportunities.
Stay current on relevant industry drivers and trends.
Identify, evaluate, and develop partnerships with key third-party sources to support research for potential and existing investments.
Represent the RDS team in initiatives aimed at enhancing information services and team core competencies.
