Job summary

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) seeks a Global Health Programs Coordinator to provide administrative support for Global Operations and Program Development. Responsibilities include managing meetings, budgets, grants, and website updates, with on-site assistance as needed.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience in a medical or nonprofit setting, plus strong MS Office and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public health, health policy, or related discipline is required.
  • At least 1 year of related general administrative experience; grants/nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Suite, netForum, SharePoint, and virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and logistics for domestic/international meetings and events, including travel and on-site support.
  • Prepare and track grants, consulting agreements, and subcontracts, including review/signature processes.
  • Assist with grant funding reports and related materials according to funder requirements.
  • Enter and track expenditures; process monthly statements and travel expense reports.
  • Update grant-related website pages and intranet content; assist with content development.
  • Coordinate staff meeting logistics, agendas, materials, and notes.
  • Maintain electronic/paper records and inventory; ensure department processes are followed.
  • Provide training and technical assistance for AAP systems and databases.
