Job summary

TJFACT is seeking an experienced Policy Analyst to support the CDC DGHP in Atlanta, GA. You will evaluate public health programs, analyze policies, and advise on improvements to operations, products, and services.

You will organize high-level meetings with domestic and international partners, prepare briefings and slides, and develop SOPs and materials for donor engagement, including collaboration with USAID, WHO, and ministries of health.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in policy-related tasks.
  • Master’s degree in public health, MBA, or relevant field.
  • Experience with a policy office at the Center or Division level.
  • Proven policy analysis experience.
  • Ability to draft and respond to Congressional and partner inquiries.
  • Experience coordinating high-level meetings with partners and ministries of health.
  • Knowledge of allocations law and Federal government funding sources.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and support collaboration on high-level public health projects between the DGHP and internal and external partners (USAID, WHO, Ministries of Health).
  • Develop PowerPoint slides, talking points, and briefings on programs and priority countries.
  • Research and prepare responses to inquiries from public health partners while performing services.
  • Analyze data findings and interpret legislative, regulatory, or policy guidance for overseas programs.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Develop SOPs and materials for engagement with the CDC Foundation and potential donors.
  • Coordinate partner outreach and cultivation of new non-financial relationships with faith-based organizations, academic institutions, think tanks, and others.
  • Develop new materials showcasing partnership opportunities with CDC/DGHP.
  • Analyze opportunities for Congressional and partner engagements, both in the US and overseas.
