Job summary

AllianceBernstein seeks a VP/Global Workplace Design & Space Planning to advance AB’s workplace strategy across 53 locations. The role partners with Legal, Finance, Technology, and local management to deliver employee‑centric, high‑quality workplaces while managing cost and risk.

Required: architecture/interior design degree with 10+ years in workplace design, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; Revit a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of workplace strategy development and space planning experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Excellent digital design presentation abilities; 3D freehand sketching ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous redevelopment and implementation of global workplace design strategy.
• Balance global design consistency with local architectural context and culture.
• Oversee procurement and oversight of architectural and interior design consultants.
• Manage and mentor one in-house interior design/space planning direct report.
• Develop project briefs in partnership with business units and Technology.
• Lead the workplace design process from test fits through project completion with external vendors.
